Submit Your Creative Original Work to Confluences

Do you have a course project, personal writing, or independent creative work you’d like to publish? Confluences is NYUSH’s journal of creative writing and arts. Submit your work for publication this coming May! Original creative work in any genre, medium, and language is welcomed, including poetry, fiction, nonfiction, artist statement, photography, visual artwork, and more!

Calling all Fall 2024 PoH Students and Spring 2025 WaI Students: the Hundred River Review, NYU Shanghai's journal of excellent student nonfiction writing, is now accepting submissions to the main section of Volume 10.

Teach Facility Staff English

The Office for Community-Engaged Learning (CELO) has been hosting weekly English lessons for campus security guards, cleaning staff, and cafeteria workers. We are looking for teaching volunteers to join us during J-term! This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in our community while developing your teaching skills. Amgen Scholars - Science and Biotechnology

Deadline: February 1, 2025

Learn more about Amgen Scholars, an undergraduate summer research program in Science and Biotechnology. The fellowship covers tuition, housing, meals, air tickets, and your living stipend. At least four NYUSH students have been awarded summer research fellowships in recent years at Tsinghua and Tokyo (check out Yolanda’s journey with brainwave recognition of emotions and music!). No previous research experience is necessary.

Marc and Ruti Bell Public Service Scholarship

NYU is pleased to announce the return of a scholarship for anyone planning to pursue a career that advances the public good: the Marc and Ruti Bell Public Service Scholarship! If you’re considering a career in e.g., education, government, non-profit, law, healthcare, public policy, social work, or anything else in the public service sector, consider applying for this amazing opportunity! Students selected for the Bell Scholarship will receive an up-to-$8,000 annual scholarship, renewable until graduation.Current second- and third-year undergraduates from any NYU school are eligible to apply.
